Life Groups

Our small group Bible studies, or Life Groups as we like to call them, are held all over Long Island throughout the week.The Life Groups are ongoing, and you may join one at any time. Please feel free to contact any of the link facilitators for more info and directions.

If you don't find a Link on this list that you feel you can connect to, PLEASE contact us at info@cpchurch.com as soon as possible... we can find something for you, as new groups are popping up all the time! We know it can be hard to navigate finding a group; if you are a little overwhelmed and just want us to go ahead and connect you, email us and we will get you connected.

Young Women's Life Group - Sharon Klein & Rachel McCabe
Sharon & Rachel are excited to offer a women's life group for 20 & 30 somethings, meeting weekly in Farmingdale on Monday evenings at 7. Contact Sharon for more information at sharonlynnklein@me.com.

Women's Life Group - Karin Boreyko
Meeting at CenterPoint on Monday nights from 7-9 PM and starting Feb 1, Karin's women's group is kicking off with a 10-week Beth Moore study of the Fruits of the Spirit. Their group's heart will be for women to be comfortable as they connect with one another and with God, while discovering more about the Bible and how it speaks into "Living Beyond Yourself". 20- & 30-something Life Group - Allison Harms and Scott Morgan
For those in their 20s & 30s, this Life Group meets Mondays at 7pm, mostly at the church office. The facilitators: Scott Morgan (photoscott7@gmail.com) & Allison Harms (allison@cpchurch.com).

Wired - Tuesdays from 7:30-9pm
High School, grades 9-12. Leaders: Noah & Laurel Schumacher, noah@areyouwired.net, laurel@areyouwired.net. Wired is open to any high school students who want to come and hang out. Most nights we hang out and talk, play wii, xbox and other games, as well as incorporate a small discussion into the evening.

Men's Life Group - John Ulin
John leads this men's life group that meets Tuesdays at 8pm. His hope is to help men get more connected to one another and God in real, relevant & committed relationships. They currently meet in East Meadow, but will be relocating soon. Contact John for more info: levittownproject@aol.com.

Women's Life Group - Mary Stoyles & Becky Deidrich
Mary & Becky's life group is open to and geared towards helping 20's & 30's something women grow in their walks together...they will be meeting Wednesdays in Mineola. For more information: twin2chick@aol.com.

Bereavement - Marie Swiderski
This is a group for those overcoming grief and loss. It will be meeting in the church office on Wednesdays at 7:30pm. Contact Marie for more info at marieswiderski@yahoo.com.

Isaac & Kelly
Isaac & Kelly welcome you to come to their home in Wantagh on Thursdays at 7:30 to get connected to God and His gracious plan for us. They can be reached at ikenet0@msn.com.

Summer Life Group

Young Married's Life Group - Brian & Sarah McMillan
We're excited about this new life group, as Brian and Sarah will be opening it for young married couples! They will be meeting weekly Tuesdays at 7:30. They can be reached at brian@cpchurch.com.

Fuel - Fridays from 7:30-9pm
Middle School, grades 6-8. Leader: Anthony Christosomo: acyouthministry@gmail.com Bring your middle school children back to church on Tuesday evenings for a time of fellowship, learning, and fun. Middle school students will be introduced to the biblical view of topics that affect their lives. Students will be encouraged and challenged to make a difference at their schools, on their teams, and amongst their friends.

Pre-PM Service Link - Gary Reich & John Ulin
Gary & John lead a service-oriented group that meets at 6pm (before the Sunday PM service). They are all about giving of time, truth and grace. People in this group can count on sharing, prayer, short devotions and then helping to make sure everything surrounding the worship service (bagels, hospitality, greeting, cleanup, bulletins, etc) goes off without a hitch!
